Abstract
The programme “Conservation of the Dalmatian and Great White Pelican” was approved on 20 February 2020 by the President of the Moscow Zoo and the President of the Eurasian Regional Association of Zoos and Aquariums (EARAZA). It has three parts: consolidating the Moscow Zoo's experience of keeping and breeding pelicans; establishing a reserve colony at the Centre for Reproduction of Rare Animal Species; and studying the biology of both species in the wild.
