On the current state of Dalmatian and Great White Pelican populations (Pelecanus crispus, Pelecanus onocrotalus) in the Manych region

Abstract
The ranges of the two pelican species living in the European part of Russia are both wide and patchy. This paper examines how breeding and non-breeding groups are distributed across the Kuma-Manych Depression and the Eastern and Western Manych, from Lake Dadynskoye in the east to the channel section of the Proletarskoye Reservoir in the west.
